Maria Teresa Agnesi

Maria Teresa Agnesi was born at Milan, 1724, died about 1780; sister of the renowned scholar, Maria Gaetana Agnesi; a celebreated pianist of her time, composed five operas, ‘Sofonisbe,’ ‘Ciro in Armenia,’ ‘Nitoeri,’ ‘Il Re Pastore’ and ‘Insubria consolata’ (1771), several cantatas, two pianoforte concertos, and sonatas, well known in Germany.
